What is involved with Invisalign®?
You will be required to visit your dentist for a consultation appointment to assess your candidacy for Invisalign®.
If you decide to pursue Invisalign® treatment, your dentist will then take impressions of your teeth. These impressions will be used to create a treatment plan by your dentist.
You will wear your aligners for 23 hours each day, and change your aligners after 2 weeks to a new set of aligners.
Depending on your desired goals, treatment length could vary. However, some patient’s complete treatment within 8 months.
Invisalign® allows dental hygiene and eating to be just like if you did not have braces at all. Invisalign® also requires only one appointment every six weeks, so it is ideal for patients with busy lives.
